One of the most pressing issues facing both families and employers is the rising cost of health care. Every family deserves access to affordable, quality health care.

As a Fond du Lac Chamber of Commerce Board Member and small business owner I've seen first-hand the dramatic increases in providing coverage to families and individuals.

As your next State Senator, I'll work to build consensus for allowing businesses to pool their resources and choose a provider that will provide the needed coverage for reduced rates. By pooling resources we can inject market forces to help drive down the cost of premiums while still delivering quality healthcare. We must work to elimate waste and duplication in our health care systems as well as weed out fraud in the state's Medicaid program.

It's important for health care providers to create more disclosure of pricing to patients, as well as enhancing wellness prevention and improved disease management.
