Randy Hopper for Wisconsin State Senate

Wisconsin Jobs

Let's get Wisconsin working again.   Good jobs make for more vibrant communities, and they lead to stronger families.

Our state has a long and proud tradition in manufacturing and agriculture.  And while we need to strengthen those sectors of our economy we also need to invest in an education system that helps train workers for the global economy including high tech jobs.

As a small business owner, I face the challenges each day to balance a budget, meet payroll and provide quality healthcare for my employees.  I'm ready to go to Madison, roll up my sleeves and get to work to help reinvigorate our economy.

As your next State Senator, I will work to hold the line on taxes.  Higher taxes are job killers.

I'll pursure new economic development zones in Winnebago, Dodge and Fond du Lac Counties, and draft legislation to end inequalities that favor special interests over workers and businesses.

To lure more jobs to our communities I will vote to create new grant and tax incentives to assist start-up companies and help expanding businesses. And I will work to reduce red tape and end frivolous lawsuits that threathen job growth and create roadblocks to attracting new businesses.

And to ensure we are training the workers of tomorrow I will work to create new partnerships between our local education system and area businesses to develop new, innovative apprenticeships and skilled trades education programs.

We must work hard to create the kind of jobs that will encourage recent graduates to stay in Wisconsin and reverse the devastating effects of "brain drain."

Our economy must work to provide opportunities that benefit everyone.
